6 Must Have Day to Day (a few favourites!) 

I am all about going glam for special occasions but day to day I keep my makeup minimal. Here is a list of my all time favourite products! 

Cetaphil– I have been using this face wash since I can remember. I have “normal” skin, so this is all my skin requires for cleansing. This can be found in any drugstore, even some grocery stores!

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream. It’s like water for my skin. I bring this with me on any overnight trip – I am obsessed! I find the staff at Kiehl’s awesome as well. They have so much skin care knowledge and really try to target the right products for you. I personally change my moisturizer in the winter and in the summer to suit my skin as well, and i use this at night and in the morning. Kiehl’s has stand alone stores and are also located certain The Bay locations. 

MAC Mineralize Skin Finish– I use this everyday all over my face. It helps even out my skin tone (aka add a bit of a tanned tone because I’m in denial about not having a tan all year round, shhh!). The product has a natural finish, doesn’t dry out my skin, and cannot look overdone. When I wear a liquid foundation, I use my MSF as a light setting powder (makes it last longer!). MAC Cosmetics has stand alone stores and can also be found in The Bay locations. 

MAC In Extreme Dimension Mascara– I have been obsessed with this since it launched. I have never found a mascara that gives me as much lift and length! To me, spending a little more on this mascara has been worth it. MAC Cosmetics has stand alone stores and can also be found in The Bay locations.

Lansinoh- HPA Lanolin– Ok, yes, this is essentially nipple cream! Secret’s out! A girlfriend of mine hooked me on this. It is a new staple in my professional kit and is always in my purse. It keeps my lips super moisturized for more than 25 seconds like most lip chaps. It also appears glossier- perfect on its own or over your favourite lipstick! I get this particular brand in the baby aisle of Shoppers Drug Mart. 

Johnson’s Baby Oil– I keep a bottle of this in my shower at all times. I literally put it all over my body while the water is still running. It keeps my skin super hydrated (especially in these dry winter months) but also incredibly smooth (yes, like a baby’s bottom!). Johnson’s Baby Oil can be found at various drug stores and grocery stores.
