My brides hold a special place in my heart. I get chills when I apply the finishing touches- there is something so special about these moments!
Whether you are a mascara only girl or a contour every damn day type, it is important that on your wedding day you feel your absolute best. I love enhancing your natural features and mixing your ideas and my knowledge and skills to come up with the perfect bridal makeup look for you.
Lashes are a definite YES! Lashes are a fantastic way to add glam without adding more makeup, and makes a massive difference in photos. I always have a range of lash styles in my kit to make sure we find the best ones for you and your eye shape. i very rarely let anyone leave my chair without em!
Airbrush is another YES for my brides. I use a synthetic based airbrush foundation that sits on top of the skin, rather than becoming absorbed. I still apply a layer of regular foundation underneath which gives a natural finish. Airbrush will give a flawless finish and allow the makeup to last until 4am (some of my brides have admitted to keeping it on for brunch the next day!) which is perfect for any bride.
Lips are the one area of the face that will 100% need to be touched up (hello kissing, drinking, and kissing again!). During your trial, we will discuss lip shades and either i will pick up a colour for you, or we may agree on something you already own. A makeup look never looks complete without a fresh lip.
Before your trial, go through photos of bridal looks and save ones you like, as well as the ones you don’t. I also like having an idea on how my brides wear their makeup when they get dressed up. I never recommend doing something out of your comfort zone. If you’ve never worn a bold lip, your wedding day is not the day to try it out!
